Bill & Marlene Burch moved to Haiti in 1980 along with their daughter Sandra. After their first year in Haiti they found little Ellie, a boy 5 years of age and only 24 pounds, living in a garbage dump, north of Port au Prince. He was a very sick child that needed a lot of medical help. The Burch's began the "I'm Blessed Boy's Home" which houses 8 boys. Through the years they have established and built a number of churches and built many Haitian homes. They have 200 children in school through the Sponsorship Program and hold Children's Church services weekly at the mission. Bill & Marlene share food with the needy and care for the medical needs of the people. |
