A GREAT SUCCESS!!! Christian Missionary Association held the first ladies seminar ever held in Viljandi, Estoma two years ago. Because the ladies were so blessed and encouraged we were invited back. The Estonian ladies have stolen our hearts from the very beginrang. Because they were under the Russian regime for so many years many of them still carry a lot of hurts and wounds. The location of the sennnar was on a 240 acre farm that belongs to a twenty-two year old young lady that she inherited from her grandparents and her mother. Maie Kirt related to us the story how the Russians confiscated the farm from her grandparents and their five children. They put her grandmother and the five children in a concentration camp and her grandfather in another concentration camp. The only survivor was Maie's mother. Maie was 15 years old when her mother passed away. Before she died she gave all the legal papers of the farm to Maie, stating "If Estonia would ever come out from under Russian regime you will have proof of ownership." While the Russians had the farm they built an auditorium, that has a stage, connecting it to the house. The farm is the second largest one in all of Estonia. God has given Maie a vision for a Bible school to train young people and to plant crops so they could be self supporting enabling them to help others. She also has four big buses that are used to distribute food and clothing to the street people. She was praying that God would send someone to work with her that she could trust in the reconstruction of the farm house into dormitories. God spoke to a couple in Norway and told them they should go to Estonia to help Maie. A large shipment of paint that was being sent to the Ukraine got lost and wound up in Estonia. They heard about Maie's story and called to inform her that she could have the paint if she wanted it. The shipment was enough to paint the house inside and out. God had a plan for Maie's life and the farm. It was no coincidence that her mother was the only survivor of 5 children. God knew it would be used for His glory. Even at 22 years of age she is a great minister. She is very talented in singing, playing the guitar and leading the worship service. She was thrilled that our seminar was the first one held there and we have been invited to come back the next time we return to Estonia. The seminar was very successful. Many were delivered from hurts and scars from the past. Their self-esteem was raised when they learned that they are special and are God's best. Pastor Lloyd Blount ministered in the night services. God moved in a tremendous way during the altar services. Many were slain under the Spirit and received deliverance. One night the presence of God was so prayerful no one wanted to leave. The following are testimonies from a few of the ladies attending the seminar: My name is Marika. This teaching has meant so much to me! I thank God for these teachings from you Godly women and for being bold to encourage our people. I have always felt mvself underestimated and down. Because of the past I was the hated child in the family. I also hated my parents, even partly my own children and husband. But God has given me His love and forgiveness. Actually I discovered before that I am worth something but now God opened my eyes totally and encouraged me. Now I can take all power and courage that is in God. I know that I am a conqueror in Him who makes me able. Now I praise The Lord. !!! (Marika) This seminar helped me to start up again and helped to raise my self-esteem. It helped to raise my faith that I am free from the past and that I can be a blessing to the church and to people. (Maie Prantsces) My heart was overwhelmed with joy when I arrived in Estonia. When I went there two years ago I fell in love with the people. They had such a hunger and thirst for God and His word. Today that hunger is still there. I saw many that were in the ladies seminar two years ago. They are still going strong for the Lord. Many healings took place, physically and spiritually. God moved in a mighty way. I was privileged to meet Maie Kirt, a young lady of 22 years of age, that has such a vision for the people of Estonia. (Lurie Dantin) AMSTERDAM, HOLLAND SEMINARTHANK YOU |
