As we come to the close of 1998, we can look back to see what has been accomplished and the lives that have been touched through Christian Missionary Association. We once again can say, "To God be the Glory for great things He hath done." It is you, our partners that have made it possible to touch people's lives around the world. It is with a grateful heart that I thank you for believing in this ministry with your faithful support and prayers. This up-to-date report will let you know how and where your money was spent. BACKWARD GLANCE OF 1998Ptr. Maggie Estomo: "Glory to God! This seminar means so much to me because I've learned many things and above all I learned to go deeper and deeper in His presence. I felt that the presence of God is so strong in the midst of us. I am refreshed in this seminar and I'm ready again and strong to face the battle. God is doing mighty things in my life. I appreciate your ministry. It really touched my heart." Wednesday P.M., I was privileged to speak in Pastor Robert's church. He has a wonderful work of 2,000 people with 16 outreach churches and an orphanage for homeless children as well as the Ruth House for abused women and their children. We were privileged to visit the orphanage. Most of the children's parents were killed by the terrorists and were left homeless. We also spent the day at the Ruth House getting acquainted and praying with the ladies. Following are testimonies given by the women from the Ruth House after we ministered to their needs. Maria Gavidia Bautista: "This morning, I could feel peace in my heart. I know I am no more guilty of all things of my past. Because I thought I was the smallest thing in this world. Now I know God loves me with all His heart, and forgives my sin. Really I feel happy, all the emptiness in my life has gone." Jessica Arauco: My name is Jessica and I'm 23 years old. Today, November 11, I woke up remembering sad things of my past. I wanted to know if there is someone who loves me and feel Him in a very special way. God Imew my desire. When the sisters prayed for me I felt great emotion. nbsp;In that moment God was telling me I love you, remember I always have you in my hands. He is my Father and cares of me." Saturday, we had an all day seminar with 220 women present at Pastor Robert's church. More reports of the seminar and meetings as well as pictures will continue in the January newsletter.
