NEW YEARS GREETINGS

"The land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys and drinketh water of the rain of heaven: a land which the Lord thy God careth for: the eyes of the Lord are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year."  (Deut. 11:11-12)

As we enter the new year, we stand at the threshold of our untried tomorrows.  As we go in to possess the land, it is a land of hills and valleys.  Isa. 40:4-5 tells us that every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

We do not know what changes will come, what new needs shall arise, but there is one consolation, "The Lord thy God careth for it," from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed.  It shall be a good and blessed New Year!

We can say with Paul "....Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark."  (Phill 3:13-14)

"Lord, as I face the New Year, help me to reach out to the challenging future, not look back to the unchangeable past."  (a prayer by Arthur Gordon)

MORE REPORTS FROM PERU MEETINGS

Lurie Dantin:
It's hard to describe on paper the overwhelming joy of seeing lives changed right before your eyes.  God moved in a great way.  I heard a testimony of someone being healed before we left Peru.  Several gave their hearts to the Lord and some re-dedicated their lives back to the Lord.

The people in Peru are vary friendly and lovable.  So many have financial, divorce, alcohol, and low self-esteem problems; but Jesus is able to deliver and heal them all. One pastor commented that the ladies faces were glowing as they came out of the church.  I thank God for His Spirit being poured out all over the world.  I thoroughly enjoyed myself and do hope to return to Peru.

Estelle Wells:
Before we left for our trip to Lima, Peru, I would try to imagine what the church services would be like.  I was not prepared for what we witnessed.  Sister Redman ministered to the ladies, and some men, on their own level.  They were able to identify with her.  At every church we attended, I felt such hunger for God's Word coming from the people.  They were like sponges just soaking up every word that was spoken.  They wanted and needed love and that's what we did our best to give - God's Word combined with love.  This trip has been a high point in my life.  Thank you for taking me.

Isabel Noriega:
(e-mail dated 11-23-98 from our interpreter while in Peru)
We had a series of women meetings last week.  The meetings were held by sister Helen Redman from Oklahoma, US.  Women received words of encouragement and found out why they were not having victory n several areas of their lives; the Lord restored lives and healed hearts as well as implanted hope and the desire of becoming better women for His Glory.  We were reminded that we are special and unique for Him and that there is a plan for our lives that we have to fulfill.  It was an awesome week!!! Thank you  for coming to Peru and blessing us.

NEW DOOR OF OPPORTUNITY OPENS FOR C.M.A.
PRETORIA, S. AFRICA, MARCH 10-22, 1999

I will be working with Pastor Vivian Pieterse of The Door Fellowship that Pastor C.F. du Toit is the founder.  They have twenty-two pastors and local churches working together.  Apart from equipping them for the ministry, they also assist in building their houses and churches.  When a couple starts a new church they assist them until the church can take care of them.  Every year they have a number of young people who are ready to go and start a new work.

I'm very grateful to Pastor Pieterse and Pastor du Toit for the invitation to come and share with the ministry of the "Door Fellowship".  Pastors Lloyd and Regina Blount will accompany me on this trip.

If you could help financially toward the air fare, I would appreciate it, for it takes team work to do the job.

Please designate on your check:  So. Africa.

Thank you so much.

At the dawning of a new year our thoughts turn gratefully to those who have made this ministry possible.  It is in this spirit we say  THANK YOU and May Peace, Good Will and Happiness be with you today and throughout the new year.

Your financial contributions toward travel expenses for the seminars are greatly appreciated. Please designate on your check the seminar you wish to help with.

We'd love to hear from you:
