ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL LADIES SEMINAR IN HAITI

EXCITING NEWS FROM HAITI

I have been privileged to conduct 6 or 7 ladies seminars for Bill & Marlene Burch over the years. This one was the best attended with 100 ladies. Many miracles of physical, mental and spiritual healing took place. I taught from Is. 61:1-4 on "Beauty for Ashes." Sis. Marlene did an illustration to reinforce the teaching.

The turmoil in Port-Au-Prince is still very bad. We had to stay away from the down town area because of the shootings and killings. They were also burning tires on automobiles. Please pray for Haiti.

The following are testimonies of the seminar:

Marlene Burch:

I feel in my heart this seminar was one that will be remembered for days and months to come. We saw great miracles take place. Many of the ladies will never be the same. Their testimonies were proof of what God had done. We had ladies from many areas in Haiti. About 100 were in attendance each day. One lady said she didn't even want to go home. We thank you Sis. Helen and also your friend Virginia for being with us. A great job, well done. To God be the Glory.

Sis. Eliephete:

I thank God for all He has done for me. When I came to the seminar I did not feel good. When I sat down, water came into my eyes and ears. I thought I could not wait until it was over. When Sis. Helen told about her family and her mother. I was so touched. My husband left me and five children. No one in my family helped me but God thinks of me as He thinks of His birds. When they asked people to come for prayer I went and since then I feel better. While they were praying I felt the Holy Spirit and the water dried up in my eyes and ears. God healed me and I thank Him.

Sis. Amadis:

God is good - thank you Lord. God did a big thing for me during the seminar. I had something that hit me really bad and I suffered a lot with stomach pain and loss of blood. I received prayer and during the night I had a dream that my pain was taken from me. I thank God and give praise to God first. God knows I have nothing to give him. My husband is sick and I don't have a house to live in. God will give me a house to live in and I thank and praise him. The same God that healed me will answer my prayer. Thank you for this seminar.

Virginia White:

It was a real blessing and supernatural experience to be a part of the Ladies' Seminar in Haiti - my first trip there. Bill & Marlene Burch have a two building mission station in Port Au Prince and have a large task with student sponsorship in five other areas of Haiti. They had invited several groups of ladies to attend the morning sessions followed by lunch each day. Their work is continuous but they already had a well-planned format and the ladies have much respect for them.

Helen & Marlene teamed together to present a visual drawing comparing good and bad roots and the consequences of each. The prayer line never ceased until time to catch the "tap tap." Our hearts and spirits were knit together under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. I thank God for allowing me to "travel with Helen" and see the results in these beautiful ladies.
