Season's Greetings

As we come to the close of this millennium year of 2000, we begin to take inventory of what C.M.A. has accomplished and the lives that have been touched by this ministry. Once again we can truly say "To God be the glory, for great things He hath done."  It is you, our partners that have made it possible to touch people's lives around the world. It is with a grateful heart that I thank you for believing in this ministry with your faithful support and prayers this past year.  The following report will let you know how and where your money was spent.

BACKWARD GLANCE OF 2000

APRIL - Lupa Lupa City, Philippines pastor's seminar.  $8,000 - seminar, airfare and travel expenses.  Pastor Robert & Sarah Cuenca, organizers.
Report from the Cuenca's:
I praise the Lord for giving me a chance to serve the C.M.A. conference 2000.  All the preparations are really blessed by God.  Rev. Helen Redman, Rev. Lloyd and Regina Blount and Rev. Chris & Patricia Redman are real blessings in touching the lives of the national pastors and pastor wives.  The message was so relevant it is speaking to us like a flowing mighty river that refreshes and encourages us.
We praise the Lord for sending his servants to serve us.

NOVEMBER - Lima & Cusco, Peru ladies seminar and meetings.  $2,500 airfare and travel expenses.  We had 500 ladies in attendance in the all day seminar from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Many were saved and healed of bruises from the past.  God moved in an awesome way at the two Ruth homes.  One is for the abused women and their children and the other is for the alcoholics and drug addictions.  A full detailed report with pictures and testimonies will be given in the January newsletter.  Space will not allow it this month.

FIJI BIBLES

I received an E-mail from Pastor Marion Male, Northern Christian Training Center, Labasa, Fiji Islands in August concerning Bibles for pastors and churches.  The following is Pastor Marion's request:
I do not know if you can help me at all but I am writing to as many organizations as possible.  As you may of read, Fiji has just had a coup which has devastated the economy.  But on the other hand we have seen a mighty revival beginning to emerge.  I have been involved in mission work in Fiji since 1980 and I have lived here for over 10 years.  Never have I seen such a mighty move of God (mostly among the Indian community).  Please can you help us, or tell me who I could contact to help us.  We are desperate for Bibles.  The churches here in Fiji have very little finance to buy Bibles with the situation after the coup.  Thousands are now out of work.  We need easy to understand translations.  Even damaged Bibles would be great as long as they are Bibles.  1 will assure you that the Bibles would go to the churches with the greatest need and to new converts.
Pastor Lloyd Blount (C.M.A. board member) had connections with a Christian Book Store in his home state of Louisiana that made it possible to purchase 250 Bibles for $675.  The company was so gracious that they shipped them free of charge.  C.M.A. and Pastor Lloyd's church purchased the Bibles to send to Pastor Marion in the Fiji Islands.
