PROGRAM/ACTIVITY TIME TABLE May 1 - May 15, 2007 This newsletter is an itinerary of our activities from our arrival in Kampala throughout our stay so you will know each day where we are and will know how to pray for us. We are banking on your prayers in making this seminar a great success. Pastors Lloyd and Regina Blount and I will arrive at Entebbe International Airport on Tuesday, May 1st at 11:00 p.m. Rev. James Oonyu and his wife, Mutesi Lilian will meet us to take us to our motel in Kampala, 20 miles from the airport. Wednesday, May 2—This will be a day of rest and shop for necessities for the stay in Lira Thursday, May 3—7:30 a.m. We will travel 4 - 5 hours to Lira, have lunch and make a courtesy call to the Lira government authorities. I recently received an email from Bro. James stating that he had invited the local police and other government officials to the seminar. At 4:30 p.m. we plan to take a tour of Lira and visit the conference venue. Friday, May 4—9:00 a.m. Seminar begins. 12:30—2:00 Lunch break, 2:00 praise & Worship, 4:10 Back to the hotel, 6:00 Dinner, 7:00 Pastor Lloyd will minister Saturday, May 5—9:00 a.m. Seminar begins 11:30—11:30 Tea break, 1:30—3:00 Lunch break, 5:30 Back to hotel/dinner, 7:00 Pastor Lloyd will minster Sunday, May 6—Pastor Lloyd Blount will minister in the Sunday service Monday, May 7— Same schedule as Saturday Tuesday, May 8—9:00 Seminar continues, 11:00—11:30 Tea break, 1:30—3:00 Lunch break, 4:30 Back to hotel/dinner, 6:30 Closing of seminar Wednesday, May 9—10:00 Leave for Mbale (Eastern Uganda), day of rest Thursday, May 10—Minister in Mbale Friday, May 11—Leave for Kampala, shopping and sightseeing in Kampala City Saturday, May 12—Travel to Jinja (4 hour drive) for sightseeing, the source of the Nile (Victoria Falls, Bujjagali Sunday, May 13—Pastor Lloyd will minister in the Sunday service 1:35—Farewell lunch (Entebbe Botanical Resort Hotel) 10:00—Return to the airport Tuesday, May 15—Arrive back in the States Thank you for being part of the team with your generous giving. God has abundantly supplied all the needs for the Uganda trip. Please pray for our safety and traveling grace during the trip. Before going to Uganda, I’ll be attending a mission conference April 2nd—5th in Galliano, LA with Pastor Eno and Lurie Dantin. From there I go to Walker, LA for Red Carpet Weekend with Pastor Val & Beckie Taylor. cc |
