SPEAK UP!
(excerpts taken from my book, “Lessons for Living”
chapter 26)

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.” Proverbs 31:8 (NIV)

There are poor and destitute people in isolated places around the world who cannot speak for themselves. Some are in sprawling urban centers that dot the capitals of the nations around the world. Most of these people are women.

The words of Proverbs 31:8 (Amplified) speak with a clarion call to those who can hear: Open your mouth for the dumb [those unable to speak for themselves], for the rights of all who are left desolate and defenseless.

Although my speech may be limited and somewhat imperfect, I know God has given me a voice to the abused, helpless women in third world nations. I am only one person — a widow — but I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Often times when I feel so overwhelmed with the task of raising funds and conducting a ministry to women in hopeless situations, I am reminded of the words of a poem I have heard many times. It is the cry of my heart:
I am only one but I am one
I cannot do everything but I can do something
What I can do I ought to do
What I ought to do by the grace of God I will do.

My life will never be complete and fulfilled unless I respond to God’s voice calling me to help others in third world countries. To help lift the suffering from so many who sit in darkness. I encourage you to seek God to find the place where your voice needs to be heard.

To learn more about how God can help you live a rewarding life, order my book “Lessons for Living”. It will be a blessing to you or a friend. The book is $12.00 (includes shipping).

A NEW DOOR OF OPPORTUNITY OPENS GUADALAJARA, MEXICO DECEMBER 5—11 LADIES SEMINAR

Guadalajara is the 2nd largest city in Mexico. It has a contrast of modern structures and homes with dirt floors and extreme poverty. I will be working with John & Cheryl Robles to hold a first time ladies seminar conference in Guadalajara. The women have great anticipation for God to move in a special way. We are expecting close to 500 in attendance.
The expense for this seminar is $2,000 which includes travel and motel. Please pray about being a partner in reaching these women in Mexico. It takes team work to do the job. Together we can make a difference. Please designate on your check: Mexico.

Your financial contributions toward travel expenses for the seminars are greatly appreciated.  Please designate on your check the seminar you wish to help with.

We'd love to hear from you:
