“The land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valley, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven: a land which the Lord thy god careth for: The eyes of the Lord are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the land of the year.” Deut. 11:11 & 12 As we enter the new year, we stand at the threshold of our untried tomorrows. As we go in to possess the land, it is a land of hills and valleys. Isa. 40:4-5 tells us that every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill shall be made low and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. We do not know what changes will come, what new needs shall arise, but there is one consolation, “The Lord thy God careth for it”, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed. It shall be a good and blessed New Year! GUADALAJARA, MEXICO SEMINARThe seminar was a great success with 150 ladies in attendance. Many lives were changed. A few testimonies are included with more to continue in next months newsletter along with pictures from the trip.“I am grateful to you ladies and this conference. I feel the Lord has healed me after many years of sorrow and loneliness. I am leaving today strengthened and without fear.” “Dear Sisters, you were the voice of God I never expected to hear! I have learned that I am important to God. He has washed my mind of all the lies I have believed and thought. I now realize how much God loves me. I came to the seminar with an empty heart. I needed a hug from my Father which He gave me and now I feel so different. I am returning home to my husband as a new woman.” “God confirmed what He has been talking to me about these last few days. He made me to understand this is a new day in my life. I am to believe and do what He has commanded me to do. He brought liberty to that which was keeping me bound. I am thankful for you all and pray the Lord blesses you abundantly.”
CALBAYOG CITY, SAMAR PHILIPPINES
Samar is home to people known as the “waray-waray” which translated means “nothing-nothing”. It is one of the poorest provinces in the country. Because this Island is so poor and hard to reach, no one wants to go there. We will fly to Cebu City, then take an all night boat trip to Samar Island. The boat only runs certain days of the week. Because of the expense for airfare, motel, seminar, etc., the cost will run close to $8,000. This is where you our partners can help lighten the load. Without you we could not reach the unreached. I repeat, it takes team work to get the job done. Please pray and ask God what He would have you do. We need to make reservations and seen money ahead for seminar expenses as soon as possible. Your support is greatly appreciated. Mark on your check: Philippine Seminar 2008.
