BY BRO. OONYU JAMES NORTHERN UGANDA In May of 2007 I was with Bro. Oonyu James in Northern Lira for a Ladies Seminar, one year after the war ended. During the war all their homes, churches and buildings were destroyed. They are now in the process of building back their lives. Following is a plead made by Bro. James in an effort to raise money toward his church building project. You may send your donations through CMA. Please designate on your check: Lira Church. We are currently building our main church in Lira town in Northern Uganda. This is going to serve as our headquarters for coordinating all activities of the ministry. At the moment, we are mobilizing resources for finishing this church. The pending work is currently estimated to cost $18,520 to complete the church which we have been building with a dedication of all our effort through local contributions of members since 2004. To have this church completed is our current most pressing need. We are lacking a house of worship and this is affecting our outreach programs for the lost and hurting souls as well. The rain is also beginning to affect and destroy the walls of the church which has already been built. This is why we are appealing for the partnership, support or contributions of the WILLING HEARTS in America to help us complete building and equipping this house of worshipping God and reaching His people in northern Uganda. We cherish transparency and accountability and promise you that every resource you contribute towards building this church will be 100% accounted for and reported to you. You will also be invited to witness the official launching of this church upon its completion and participate in its entire outreach activities to mark the occasion.  Breakdown of these expenses: roofing $3,606 doors $1,416 windows $2,346.50 finishing $530 walls $2,327 electricity $3,264 plumbing $2,536 fencing $2,494.50 Thank you for your partnership and generous support.
