PROV. 3:5 & 6 (Living Bible) “Trust the Lord completely, don’t ever trust yourself. In everything you do, put God first and He will direct you and crown your efforts with success.” So many people today are worried about the future (jobs, economy, political situation, etc.). Man says: Why trust when you can worry? God says: Why worry when you can trust? When we trust and cast all of our present and future needs on Him, we find in Him our security and safety. When we recognize His presence and concern in each one of our circumstances, (that He has full control of the situation) He will smooth out and make straight our paths, removing each obstacle along the way. This gives me faith and courage to know that He will make a way, when there seems to be no way. HONG KONG VISITOn our way home from the Philippines we stopped over in Hong Kong. We attended Revival Christian Church on Mother’s Day to be with our long time friends Pastor Dennis and Kathy Balcomb. We were privileged to hear Pastor Dennis minister which he seldom does due to his travels. It was great to renew fellowship with them again. My late husband, Henry, took Bibles into Mainland China for Pastor Dennis. After I took the mission work, I made 2 trips for him.PHILIPPINE LADIES TESTIMONIESI’m happy and so blessed to have this special time at the women’s conference. I learned more about the Word of God and I’m free from the bondage of sin. I’m also very glad to have a new friend.Nancy C. Bagalanon This is my first time to attend this kind of conference and it really blessed me a lot. It is a good feeling when we can cry out to God our feelings because if the bad remains in our heart we will be like a sycamore tree that bears bitter fruit. We also need to prepare a room for the Holy Spirit in our hearts so that our lives will experience pure joy in the Lord. Xnalyn Laqna I’m very thankful to God that he gave me good health and strength for the 4 day women’s conference. I’m so very happy to worship the Lord and hear the Word of God and to have met so many people especially the speakers. Estela Arranguez |
