Jeremiah 31:16-17 “...Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; for your work shall be rewarded says the Lord, and they shall come back from the land of the enemy. There is hope in your future, says the Lord, that your children shall come back to their own border.” Recently I was praying concerning my dysfunctional family. It seemed the more I prayed the worse things became. I was reminded of Jer. 31:16-17 from Chapter 30 of my book, “Lessons for Living”. The enemy is working overtime to destroy families. Divorce is prevalent from the young to the old. There is no commitment of the marriage vows: “Till death do us part”. One of the characteristics of the Holy Spirit’s activities in the last day will be a move of God within families to bring about salvation, unity and restoration. Psalm 127:3 tells us the value of our children. They “are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward.” When the ark was almost completely prepared before the great flood descended, the Lord spoke these words to Noah: “...Come into the ark, you and all your household.” (Genesis 7:1) No family member was to be left outside the ark of safety. In the parable of the lost son (Luke 15:11-32), the prodigal came home. This parable is a picture of our heavenly Father who willingly receives every repentant person back into His house. If you have family members away from God, receive this as a prophetic word. The prodigals will return home. Don’t be discouraged. Believe God and continue praying. JAVILLO FAMILY UPDATEWe are seeking supporters for the Javillo family. There are 2 children remaining who are currently attending college and need funds to help them complete their education. Henry only has 10 months remaining and Helen has 2 years and 10 months to graduate. Due to lack of funds the family is slowing renovating their house and during the rainy season uses blankets to cover the walls to keep the rain out. In addition to their own family members, they are also housing and caring for Ellen’s mother who in confined to bed. CMA is the only source of income for this family. If you would be able to contribute monthly to this family, please designate on your check “Javillo Family”. I know that it will be a blessing to them and you will also be blessed by doing so. |
